Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) for accurate reporting.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and planning.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance to support management decisions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of corporate general ledger functions.
- Public accounting foundation (preferred but not required).
- CPA certification (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
