LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounting Manager for our client in San Francisco, CA. This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in office.
The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bi-weekly payroll, perform GL reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and manage month-end close procedures. This role requires at least 4 years of supervisory experience, excellent attention to detail, and intermediate Excel skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of Accounts Payable, Bi-weekly Payroll and Accounts Receivable procedures
- Manage month-end close procedures
- Train staff on account reconciliations
- Identify gaps in internal controls and resolve timely
- Maintain compliance with tax laws and labor regulations
- Develop KPIs to measure success and provide reporting to leadership
- Develop budget forecasts
- Review and analyze period-end financial results
- Perform GL reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CPA preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in public accounting firm or corporate accounting environment
- 4 years in supervisory role
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- GL system experience
- Detail-oriented
