Role Overview:
We are seeking a Procurement and Accounting Specialist to oversee purchasing operations and support organizational procurement processes. This role involves managing purchasing activities, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining accurate documentation, and reconciling credit card transactions. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline purchasing operations while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate procurement processes for the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Develop, implement, and maintain procurement strategies and policies.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in invoices, purchase orders, and agreements.
- Evaluate purchasing activities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Enter goods and services into the D365 procurement system.
- Conduct research and analyze data to support purchasing decisions.
- Reconcile corporate American Express accounts bi-weekly and Citibank credit card statements monthly.
- Manage and place online orders for office supplies and IT equipment.
