LHH Recruitment Solutions is on the search for an exceptional Accounting Supervisor to join our clients dynamic team in Seattle! In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a talented group of 4 Property Accountants, providing mentorship and support as you oversee multiple properties. Your expertise in commercial real estate will be invaluable as you step in as a backup when needed, ensuring seamless operations and top-notch service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a staff of 4 Property Accountants
- Review monthly reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist Property Accountants with creating invoices and other accounting tasks.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to the team.
- Handle all accounting and bookkeeping for the company.
- Handle time cards and billing for engineers, including mileage and hourly wages.
- Ability to do the property accounting for some properties as backup/as needed
- Experience with compliance and filing quarterly returns.
- Ability to manage time cards and billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with all tax filings, including B&O tax, sales tax, and quarterly returns.
- Work with the Principal on company benefits and compliance with HR laws and codes.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up their accounting processes.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone, ensuring their accounting needs are met.
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- SAGE software experience
- Yardi experience
- Supervisory experience - Ability to mentor and oversee a team of 4
- Commercial Real-estate experience
- 5 years of experience
- Strong written and verbale communication
Schedule: On-site M-F
