What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Manager position at LHH?
Responsibilities of this direct hire AP Manager position include:
- Oversee, mentor, and manage one AP Specialist.
- Manage the complete accounts payable cycle, including processing invoices from multiple locations, approving payments, performing 3-way matching, and bi-weekly check runs.
- Administer the Concur expense reimbursement system.
- Review W9 information and file 1099 forms.
- Schedule and prepare wire transfers and ACH.
- Month-end accruals and allocations.
- Serve as the liaison between purchasing and accounting.
- Help with process improvements.
- Collaborate with Sr Management to address issues and educate them on AP processes.
Minimum requirements:
- 5 years of experience in accounts payable, several of which was in a supervising capacity.
- Multi-entity and high-volume experience highly preferred.
- Supervisory experience.
- Proficiency with expense reimbursement systems, such as Concur.
- Familiarity with Dynamics GP or similar ERPs and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills able to maintain strong vendor relationships.
