Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
Job Description: We are on the lookout for a diligent and skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Albuquerque. This candidate will have a solid background in managing high volumes of accounts payable and at least two years of recent experience. This role involves setting up new vendors and handling the entire accounts payable process.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process a large number of accounts payable transactions with accuracy.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including verifying invoices, coding, and processing payments.
- Set up and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to address and resolve payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and generate necessary reports.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of recent experience in accounts payable.
- Proven ability to handle high-volume accounts payable processing.
- Experience with setting up new vendors and managing the full accounts payable cycle.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
