What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at LHH?

Responsibilities:
- Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
- Process expense reports from employees
- Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner
- Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
- Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end
- Communicate with vendors to solve any issues
- Prepare check, ACH, and wire payment batches on scheduled AP pay runs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
- 1 plus years in accounting or related field
- Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

- $28-$32 an hour based on experience
