What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with real estate client on this Commercial Accounts Receivable Coordinator opportunity. This role will work collaboratively with the commercial leasing and operations team while providing outstanding customer service to our tenants. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment, while maintaining the ability to be organized and detail originated. Candidates MUST have COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY experience.
Responsibilities:
• Review, post and reconcile lockbox bank accounts against cash application batches daily and monthly.
• Prepare weekly collections reports, reporting status of arrears and collections activity to the Director of Lease Administration and AR.
• Partner with the operations and leasing teams to resolve issues
• Execute daily and weekly collections activity
• Coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions affecting month end close.
Qualifications:
• 4-8 years experience in commercial real-estate - required
• Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
• Ability to multi-task, effectively determine priorities and meet firm deadlines
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
.• Prior experience with Yardi and EXCEL a plus
