Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support the Controller in budget preparation, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.
- Manage audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives and strategic projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
