Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Consultant for a 3-4 month project based in Newark, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-entity healthcare environments and a deep understanding of revenue cycle processes. This role requires a commitment to the project duration and proficiency in both versions of QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee accounting operations for multiple healthcare entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.
- Handle general ledger, financial statements, and revenue cycle management.
- Maintain day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Controller on project-based tasks.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in multi-entity healthcare accounting.
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes.
- Proficiency in both versions of QuickBooks (Desktop and Online).
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the project (3-4 months).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
