Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Bench Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test electronic and mechanical components according to specifications and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty components and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve product designs and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Bench Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
