Position Overview :
The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and risk management. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the institution’s mission and long-term goals.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
- Manage accounting, treasury, payroll, and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team and board of directors to support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead risk management initiatives, including financial audits, compliance, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee funding sources, including grants, endowments, tuition revenue, and state / federal funding, ensuring proper utilization and reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, auditors, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders.
