Communications Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a communications specialist with 5 or more years of experience for a contract opportunity for a non profit organization in Washington DC. This role is hybrid 2 days in office 3 days work from home. This is a great contract role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Create various types of content, such as announcements, blog posts, social media updates, talking points, and other necessary materials.
- Oversee and maintain company’s publications' social media presence across various platforms, scheduling content and actively engaging with our community.
- Participate in communications projects by planning, writing, coordinating with teams, and delivering content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related fields.
- Extensive experience managing social media for a comparable high-profile organization, with proficiency in using management platforms such as Brandwatch or Buffer.
- Positive attitude that contributes to the team culture.
- Clear thinker with an organized and detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent writer and communicator.
- Familiarity with paid digital and social advertising on Meta and/or LinkedIn.
Experience:
- 5 years in corporate communications.
Employment Type: 10 month Contract
Compensation: $25.50-$32.00 per hour
Salary : $26 - $32
