LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Conflicts and Business Intake Specialist in San Diego, CA! This is a temporary opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Analyze and process all conflict requests to ensure that all firm engagements and hires are clear from a business and ethical perspective.
  • Prepare database search terms and create conflicts reports for related parties, for all requests including high volume, bulk searches, Search all relevant and necessary parties in the firm's conflicts database.
  • Request waivers for all matters requiring consent and confirm that all conflicts have been resolved.
  • Provide summaries to requesting attorneys and staff and respond to any questions.
  • Adhere to all firm and department policies and procedures related to searching, reviewing conflict reports, and preparing summaries.
  • Review new matter memos for accuracy and completion.
  • Processing of client / matter intake forms, new matter memos, engagement letters, waiver letters, and other essential documents
  • Input and maintenance of attorney origination and other credits into the firm's conflicts and financial databases

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Highly organized and demonstrate good judgment in prioritization, assuring deadlines are met consistently.
  • 1-3 years law firm experience.
  • Software savvy. Experience with SAP Concur or similar software a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively, under pressure, with minimal direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and high-volume requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to compose straightforward correspondence and effectively present information to attorneys and staff.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Takes initiative and is a team player.
  • High school diploma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • SALARY : 27-$33 an hour
