Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Law Attorney on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction claims and contracts. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage a demanding caseload with a billable requirement of approximately 1900 hours annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in construction-related disputes, including claims and contract issues.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and mediations.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on construction law matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and solutions.
- Manage a high-volume caseload with a focus on both plaintiffs and defense work.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction law, with a focus on construction claims and contracts.
