Responsibilities
- Oversee the budget, financial reporting, and strategies for the company, including completing month and quarter-end financial statements.
- Work with the leadership team on job costing, cash flow, and budget projections.
- Manage and coordinate accounting, financial reporting, job costing, budgeting, forecasting, internal audit, and cash management.
- Develop financial policies and find cost-effective solutions to financial issues.
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, establishing and achieving departmental goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial documentation, compliance with GAAP, and process improvements.
- Prepare and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Direct and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling.
- Monitor working budgets for each construction project.
- Oversee accounts receivable, payable, and cash flow management.
Client Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience in commercial construction.
- Experience with Vista by Viewpoint Accounting Software is preferred.
