What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at LHH?
We are looking for a Controller to join a small, growing retail business in Jacksonville! This person will report directly to the CFO and will have oversight of accounting functions, as well as supervision over the accounting team. Job Duties
- Manage day to day operations of the accounting department
- Oversee all tasks in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare financial reports for the CFO
- Coordinate financial review and tax return preparation
- Ensure all bank reconciliations are completed accurately
- Oversee the month-end close process
- Maintain QuickBooks accounting software and offer departmental process improvements
Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred
- Experience supervising accounting personnel
- Experience working with QuickBooks accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
