LHH client is a fast-growing manufacturer located in Grafton, WI. Due to an upcoming retirement, they have an immediate need for a Controller.
The Controller will oversee the financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry who is not afraid to wear many hats. You will be involved in various aspects of financial management, from strategic planning to hands-on accounting tasks, and also be apart of the executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax compliance.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and achieve company goals.
- Handle diverse responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a variety of roles.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
