Payroll Manager in Cherry Hill, NJ
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a food & beverage manufacturer in Cherry Hill to hire a Payroll Manager. This role includes overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments and adherence to tax regulations. You'll lead a dedicated team, collaborate with various departments, and support payroll accounting and reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll cycle: salaries, deductions, taxes, benefits.
- Maintain payroll accounts and audit information.
- Reconcile payroll ledgers with accounting.
- Assist in payroll calculations and tax filings.
- Maintain payroll documentation and audit payroll transactions for accuracy.
- Prepare wage summaries.
- Resolve payroll issues and inquiries.
- Manage external audits and year-end processes.
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
- 7 years of payroll experience.
- Certified Payroll Professional certification.
- Experience in payroll operations and systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and time management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to coach and train.
- Strategic thinking.
- Experience with ADP and UKG.
