Pay Rate : Up to $30 per hour
Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our client’s team in Sparta, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide accurate product information, pricing, quotes, modifications, product availability and delivery dates. Responsibilities include processing orders, quotes, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. The candidate will respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, quotes, modifications, product availability and delivery dates.
- Process orders, quotes, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism and empathy.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and courteous manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production departments to track order status.
- Run open order reports daily and communicate with customers and sales representatives about potential delays or issues.
- Maintain customer database and update records with sales interactions and transactions in the ERP system.
- Partner with departments to address customer / order issues, including customer credit holds.
- Ensure drawings are approved and signed before quoting.
- Review BoMs (Bill of Materials) in the ERP system for production feasibility.
- Maintain margin accuracy by collaborating with the sales team for approvals.
- Provide pre- and post-sales support and identify upselling opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
- Stay informed about product features and participate in product training sessions.
- Share customer feedback with relevant departments for continuous improvement.
- Participate in periodic physical inventory processes.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
