A successful and stable healthcare organization is looking to add a Database Developer to their growing team. The Database Developer is a key member of the BI team, responsible for ETL processes from proprietary software applications, building Power BI dashboards and providing data insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- SQL Server Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring efficient query performance, data integrity, and security.
- ETL Development: Extract, transform, and load data using SSIS, ensuring accurate and timely data integration.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate complex queries, reports, and extracts from SQL Server databases. Design dashboards using Power BI.
- Data Quality Assurance: Conduct business testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Cloud and On-Premises Integration: Develop solutions that integrate data from both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Documentation: Promote best practices for database development, security, and data governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or 1-4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and SQL functions.
- Experience with SQL Server 2016 , Microsoft Power BI, and SSIS for ETL/ELT packages.
- Customer service oriented.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
