About the Role: This critical position ensures the smooth flow of raw materials, equipment spares, and consumables from receipt to distribution. You'll play a key role in implementing a new S2P solution, migrating to SAP S/4 Hana, and possibly upgrading our warehouse management system. Your creativity and process-driven approach will help optimize our space to accommodate our ambitious revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Operations: Oversee Raw Material stores, shipping/receiving, and material handling for four fab manufacturing sites.
- Lead a Global Team: Supervise a team of ~65 salaried and hourly employees supporting 24X7 operations.
- Standardize Processes: Work with site managers to maintain efficient operations and automate material management across all fabs.
- SAP Management: Handle SAP material master management and supplier information, ensuring timely creation of new parts.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and publish metrics to evaluate plan/process effectiveness and support strategic objectives.
- Inventory Control: Ensure sufficient supply of spare parts and raw materials, optimize inventory levels, and manage expiration and batch dates.
- Compliance: Adhere to quality standards, EH&S, and regulatory requirements, including handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Team Building: Foster a safe, healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected, promoting lean manufacturing practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: BS or BA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
- Experience: 10 years in materials management or a similar role.
- Skills: Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems, understanding of forecasting and budgeting, and working knowledge of SAP MM.
- Leadership: Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication at VP/GM level.
- Problem Solving: Attention to detail and a proven track record in Change Management and Project Management.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Lean Manufacturing: Experience with 6S, Shingo, Six Sigma.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to ensure global alignment.
Salary : $160,000 - $185,000
