We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Radiology Services to make a difference in patient care and departmental excellence.
What You'll Do
- Provide visionary leadership and supervision, coordinating department activities to ensure the highest safety standards for patients and staff.
- Oversee all human resource functions, including training, staff competencies, and maintaining safe staffing levels.
- Develop and manage budgets to meet departmental, organizational, and patient safety goals, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Monitor departmental indicators and PI activities, reporting directly as required.
- Step in as a radiology technician when needed, responding to the department's needs.
What We Require
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited program. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Specialized training in CT or MRI.
- Previous supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions.
- Background as a radiology technologist/Nuclear Medicine/Other modalities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current state licensed CRT, Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH, and ARRT-R certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support/BCLS (AHA) certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards.
- Ability to manage 50 shared direct reports, experience with budgets, and availability to work weekends as needed.
