What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health Safety Specialist position at LHH?
The EHS Specialist will foster and promote employee safety and ensure compliance with applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety laws within a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
- Lead team to maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Coordinate sanitation to minimize production disruption
- Conduct inspections and improve processes
- Collaborate with regulators and cross-functional teams
- Provide training and support for protocol adherence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing sanitation and regulations.
- 2 of relevant experience within the environmental, health and safety space.
- Experienced in areas such as emergency preparedness, site security, and EHSS standards.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
