The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of cost estimation processes. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to project managers.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
