Event Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a event coordinator with 2 or more years of experience for a contract opportunity for a manufacturing organization in Durham, NC. This fully onsite. This is a great contract role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
- Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
- Handle any issues that arise and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to determine areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Suite.
- Capable of multitasking and completing tasks promptly without compromising accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of experience.
Employment Type: 3-6 month Contract
Compensation: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
