What are the responsibilities and job description for the FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL position at LHH?
A well-established mid-size Family Law firm located in Menlo Park is seeking an experienced Paralegal. The Paralegal will be exposed to diverse and challenging projects and will be working closely with a team of 6 other paralegals. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days of onsite presence.
Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements and marital agreements.
- Draft legal forms and pleadings, compile and serve discovery, arrange court filings and process serves.
- Help attorney prepare for trials, MSCs, and hearings by creating the necessary pleadings, trial notes, and exhibit binders.
- Conduct legal research, maintain attorney calendars and stay on top of court deadlines, serve as a liaison between the client and the attorneys.
Experience
The compensation range for this position is $85,000 and $105,000 per year, depending on candidates experience.
