Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the accounting department, providing guidance and support to the team.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard assets.
Conduct detailed cost accounting analysis to support pricing, budgeting, and financial planning.
Complete month-end close processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Manage inventory responsibility, including valuation and reconciliation.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
Monitor and report on key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
