What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager position at LHH?
LHH is hiring a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a hybrid role in Deerfield, IL.
The FP&A Manager will report directly to the Director of FP&A and collaborate with various internal teams, including finance, IT, sales, and marketing. Although the role doesn’t include direct supervisory responsibilities, the FP&A Manager will work closely with controllers across the company's business units and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with corporate finance, segment finance leads, supply chain, IT, sales, marketing, and the CFO to design a new budgeting and forecasting process.
- Build and manage financial models to support global operations, including cost-savings proposals, board reports, and other business analyses.
- Drive analytics-based decision-making, working with cross-functional teams to develop and refine PowerBI.
- Provide financial analysis for global operations, assisting with external reporting requirements and monitoring debt covenant compliance.
- Assist the Vice President of FP&A and the CFO in conducting financial due diligence and evaluating potential M&A opportunities.
- Facilitate the smooth integration of acquisitions by adhering to the established integration playbook.
- Collaborate on the creation and distribution of monthly management reports using the OneStream tool.
- Support the annual budgeting process by coordinating with business unit leaders and developing financial forecasts.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses for various strategic initiatives and executive requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and FP&A consolidation systems such as OneStream, HFM, Hyperion Planning, Vena, or Anaplan.
- 5 to 8 years of finance and accounting experience.
- MBA is a plus.
- Proven project management abilities, with a track record of successfully completing high-visibility projects on time.
- Prior experience with financial modeling.
- Experience in a global or international business setting is an advantage.
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
