Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

This role involves financial analysis of key pipeline projects, developing financial models, and coordinating the planning process across various functional groups and international regions. The position also includes monitoring financial trends, conducting ad hoc analyses, and supporting licensing opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and create financial models for key pipeline projects, ensuring accurate NPV, IRR, and risk analysis.
• Assist management in pipeline project decision-making.
• Collaborate with business management to determine key inputs and data collection for the pipeline database.
• Act as IRR Facilitator, filtering unresolved issues, preparing them for escalation, and ensuring financial reconciliation.
• Identify gaps between the operational plan and commitments, recommending actions to close these gaps for executive decision-making.
• Manage and support the preparation of annual Short Range Plan (SRP) and Mid-Range Plan (MRP) on a performance and entity basis.
• Assist management in developing business volume assumptions under various strategies and rate conditions.
• Oversee the development of transfer prices for intercompany sales to international affiliates, working with regional companies to finalize sales plans and cost allocations.
• Manage monthly financial reporting of performance sales and commentary, communicating variance reports to management.
• Prepare monthly product profitability analyses using cost accounting software, continually improving methodology.
• Prepare key management presentations, including SRP, MRP, and presentations for the President and CEO.
• Conduct cost/benefit and breakeven analyses for various projects.
• Provide financial support for licensing and acquisitions as requested.

Experience:

• 7 – 14 years of related experience.
• CPA, MBA preferred.
• BA/BS, or equivalent.
