We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Reporting Accountant to support our financial reporting and compliance functions. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting external audits. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for financial accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and financial reporting policies.
- Assist with external and internal audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, treasury, and compliance, to enhance reporting processes.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on financial reporting.
- Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SOX, regulatory reporting, and compliance.
- Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
