LHH is seeking a Director of Human Resources for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in South Bend, IN. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative organization that is on the cutting edge and continues to grow and exceed expectations. In this role, you will lead a small HR team while supporting the strategic vision and growth of the organization. The HR Director will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of all HR-related duties including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, talent development, policy creation and administration, etc. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $125,000-150,000 plus bonus and includes a comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA / EEO compliance, etc.Evaluate options for improvement in employee satisfaction and maintain a positive workplace environmentEnsure staffing of qualified employees by developing and managing the recruitment, interview, selection, and on-boarding processesServe as a liaison between the management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issuesOrganize and lead the HR staff by communicating expectations, conducting planning meetings, monitoring work, assessing results, enforcing policies, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are being achievedDevelop and facilitate onboarding training programs and ongoing trainings for all employees for professional development, leadership, and management skillsEvaluate and recommend training resources to support employee developmentOrganize and administer company-wide performance management programQUALIFICATIONS
