Job Title: HR Director


Job Summary: Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking HR Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion, driving a culture of change and continuous improvement. You will lead and shape the strategic direction of the organization's human resource functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This role will require a hands-on approach to talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, and performance management, while working closely with third-party vendors to enhance our HR capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee and guide the development and execution of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy. Build relationships with third-party recruiting vendors to enhance sourcing strategies, ensuring the attraction of top-tier talent across all business units.
  • Succession Planning & Leadership Development: Lead the creation and implementation of succession planning strategies in collaboration with senior management. Work closely with external partners to implement leadership development programs designed to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Employee Career Development & Retention: Champion the development of career progression pathways and retention programs. Work with management to identify high-potential employees and create tailored career development plans.
  • HR Strategy & Advisory: Serve as a strategic business partner and human capital advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on workforce trends, organizational development, and HR best practices.
  • Policy Development & Organizational Consistency: Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives that promote consistency and fairness across all departments, aligning with the organization’s goals and values.
  • Compensation & Benefits Strategy: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry standards. Collaborate with vendors to ensure cost efficiencies while retaining and attracting top talent.
  • Performance Management & Employee Engagement: Lead the performance management process to ensure alignment with business goals. Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement while implementing initiatives to drive employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, including recruitment agencies, learning and development partners, and other HR service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery in alignment with organizational needs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally from a services-oriented business, with a strong blend of corporate and business unit line experience.
  • Proven experience working with third-party vendors to enhance talent acquisition, succession planning, and other key HR functions.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements, with a focus on employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically, act tactically, and make data-driven decisions that impact business outcomes.
  • Experience implementing and managing employee engagement and retention initiatives.
