Our client is a family-owned business headquartered in Cicero, IL.
They are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead their Human Resources department. This is a 5 day a week in office position that offers benefits, work life balance, and a great company culture
Responsibilities -
- Manage recruiting initiatives for all exempt and non-exempt employees
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
- Reviews, guides, and approves management recommendations for employment terminations
- Provides leadership and hands-on solutions in response to People needs throughout the organization.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Foster a positive workplace and employee experience; serve as an ambassador for company culture.
- Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Leads the implementation of company safety and health programs. Monitors the tracking of OSHA-required data.
- Partners with management to communicate Human Resource policies, procedures, programs and laws.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree combined with relevant experience to duties listed above. Seeking a candidate who can step into this role without much training.
