Responsibilities:
- Advise managers on employee relations and development.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee grievances.
- Conduct internal investigations into potential ethical or legal violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze turnover data, and suggest improvements to enhance employee retention and experience.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and oversee job postings.
- Maintain relationships with recruiting vendors and staffing agencies.
- Conduct candidate interviews and partner with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, including job offer development.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and professional development programs.
- Stay updated on employment laws to ensure compliance.
- Develop, update, and implement employment policies and procedures.
- Oversee performance management processes, including annual evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4 years HR experience
- Knowledge of employment regulations such as EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and Affirmative Action.
- Experience in hiring, employee relations, policy development, payroll, benefits administration, and internal communications.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with good organizational and planning abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus
