Job Title: HR Operations Specialist

Location: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week in Lanham, MD)

Compensation: $25-27/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support various operational aspects, programs, and policies within the HR department. This is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite in Lanham, MD, one day a week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and administration of HR programs and policies.
• Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and record maintenance.
• Coordinate and manage employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Assist with employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
• Provide support in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating training and development programs.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an HR role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
