What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-House Counsel position at LHH?
LHH is assisting in a search for an in house counsel role located in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is mostly remote and focuses heavily on drafting and reviewing contracts.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing frontline legal advisement and support to business management teams on a broad array of issues involving HR, Labor & Employment and contract compliance.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Corporate generalist support related to employment policies and procedures.
- Some corporate transactional duties as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of corporate experience, preferably with an in-house legal team.
- A solid understanding of corporate business law.
- The ability to resolve problems quickly and objectively using sound business judgment.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, flexible environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Membership in state bar association.
