What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer position at LHH?
LHH is working with a client in Tulsa, OK that is adding a Network Engineer to their team. This is a full time, direct hire, on-site (for the first six months, then hybrid) role. , you will be responsible for planning, building, and running global network services. Your focus will be on the operations of our SASE and Azure Networking platforms, with additional responsibilities in SD-WAN, Network Access Control (NAC), and LAN infrastructures. Additional responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, build, and run global network services.
- Implement Zero Trust Network Access Solutions and Forward Proxies to support a "Remote First" workplace strategy.
- Secure access to cloud and on-premises resources with cutting-edge solutions.
- Develop architectural documentation and participate in architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Define service roadmaps, including demand, requirements, and lifecycle management.
- Stay informed about external trends to devise continuous service improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-wide, security-focused access network solutions.
- Strong security mindset and understanding of network security best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and team skills.
- Fluent in English (verbally and written).
Must-Have Software and Hardware Requirements:
- Experience with Forward Proxy, ZTNA / SDP solutions, Azure Networking, SD-WAN, and Network Access Control (802.1X authentication)
- Zero trust network security exp preferred, or security access service edge, exp with scripting such as Python, Theraform, Powershell.
- Strong analytical skills with an affinity for IT technologies, including in-depth understanding of standard networking and security protocols
- Familiarity with Zscaler tunnel 2.0 and firewalling
Working Conditions:
- Normal office conditions.
- Up to 5% travel, domestic and/or international, required.
