LHH is seeking an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant for our client in Atlanta, Georgia. This position reports to the Office Manager, as well as their assigned attorney. Check out the details below:
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide legal secretarial and administrative (clerical) support to assigned attorneys.
- Prepare letters, memos, pleadings, and other documentation as required.
- Make travel arrangements.
- Prepare and submit expense reports and check requests.
- Provide documentation, as required, to clients, opposing counsel, and others.
- Preparation and submission of new client and/or new matter forms.
- Maintain an appropriate filing system for physical and electronic files for all attorney and client work, including utilizing electronic file sharing systems.
- Answer incoming phone calls for assigned attorneys, unless otherwise directed.
- Enter attorney time.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned or requested (as needed).
- Prepare correspondence.
- Communicate with clients as needed.
- Keep confidential all Firm and client documents in accordance with firm policy.
- Maintain individual calendar for all assigned attorneys.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Administrative Assistant in a law firm.
- Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload for multiple people.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients and guests of the firm.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, legal billing, and document management programs.
- Experience supporting and prioritizing multiple attorneys simultaneously.
- Should be a dependable, trustworthy team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act as back-up to other team members to support additional attorneys when necessary.
Other Important Details:
- Office Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- 40 hours/week
- Hybrid (4 days in office/1 day remote)
- Programs: iManage (CMS), Intapp (timekeeping), Workday (clock in/out), and ChromeRiver (reimbursements)
- Firm will provide a stipend of $150/month for parking and the rest will be covered by the employee
Salary : $65,000 - $74,000
