LHH is partnering with a regional law firm in seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Docket / Calendar Clerk to join the firm in their Cerritos office. The ideal candidate is well-versed in heavy calendaring, has exceptional organizational skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is essential. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm setting, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progression of our cases.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently schedule court appearances and depositions with precision.
- Take charge of comprehensive calendaring, managing attorneys' schedules, appointments, deadlines, and alerts.
- Establish effective communication channels with opposing counsel, court clerks, experts, and vendors.
- Foresee imminent case milestones and proactively prepare necessary documents.
- Execute filing tasks meticulously, adhering to timelines and organizational standards.
