Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys handling litigation matters
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and correspondence
- File legal documents with courts (both electronically and in person when required)
- Maintain and organize case files, discovery materials, and calendars
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings
- Manage attorney schedules and monitor deadlines
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary in litigation
- Strong knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Florida court filing systems is a plus
