What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Assistant position at LHH?
LHH is hiring a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) for our clients Tampa office. We’re looking for a professional with at least 3 years of law firm experience, specifically in litigation, to support our attorneys with administrative and legal tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- Draft, edit, and proof legal documents and correspondence
- Schedule court appearances, depositions, and meetings
- E-file in Florida State and Federal courts
- Assist with trial prep and organize case materials
- Manage time entry, billing, and client file maintenance
- Handle intake, conflicts checks, and file openings/closings
- Provide general administrative support (calls, expenses, CLE tracking, etc.)
What You Bring:
- 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm, complex commercial litigation a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; iManage and Aderant experience a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Professionalism, discretion, and a client-service mindset
