Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and business development? We are working with a Law Practice client of ours seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Business Development Manager to join their team. In this role, you will support partners and collaborate with various teams to drive marketing and business development initiatives. This role will be about 75% Business Development and 25% Marketing responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the pitch and RFP process, including production and follow-up.
- Develop and execute marketing and client development strategies.
- Communicate regularly with attorneys and participate in practice group meetings.
- Maintain and track business development opportunities.
- Conduct research to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Draft submissions for industry rankings and awards.
- Coordinate client events and networking initiatives.
- Curate content for distribution, including marketing materials and web content.
- Collaborate with external PR agencies to develop press strategies.
- Utilize CRM tools for business development activities.
- Contribute to firm-wide projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing or business development within a law firm.
- Proven ability to identify business development opportunities.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail and strategic thinking abilities.
