Job Summary
The Master Electrician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of all electrical systems, including power distribution, motors, control panels, automation, and safety systems. The Master Electrician collaborates closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant-wide electrical performance.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, and automation in a industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and process automation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience working with 480V, medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; Technical or Trade School certification preferred.
- 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a industrial setting.
- Master Electrician License required (or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe).
- Experience using CMMS (SAP, Maximo, etc.) for work order tracking and maintenance scheduling.
- Prior experience working in a unionized environment is a plus.
