Part-Time Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in the property management industry. This role will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is part-time with approximately 24 hours per week and will pay between $24 and $28/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection and vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to management.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed.
- Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the property management industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
