What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Controller, Multi-Site position at LHH?
LHH is supporting our national client as they look for a very strong Multi-site Plant Controller who would relocate to a rural market on the Kentucky/Ohio/West Virginia Border.
RELOCATION REQUIRED: ROBUST RELOCATION OFFERED, but this position must be onsite and someone must be willing to move to this smaller community.
We are looking for a strong leader who has come from larger sized manufacturing plants.
Position: Plant Controller
Compensation: $180-210K base salary plus combined incentive comp around 30%
- 401K match as high as 6.5%
- 3 weeks of PTO plus 10 holidays

Reports to: GM of Plant
Team: 2 direct and a total team of 14
Hours/Schedule: 50 hours per week is normal, can be more with projects, etc
Travel: Occasional
Job includes:
- Plant Controller oversees the Manufacturing of plant locations combined into 1 finalized P&L
- Owns all the Financial Close, Cost Accounting, Financial Statements, narrative, and management reporting.
- CapEx Accounting, preparation of Provision calculation,
- Financial Analysis and Reporting as a business partner to the performance of the business.
- Work within a SOX environment, adhering to internal controls policies and procedures.
- Participate in Financial Systems implementation as well as improved use.
We are looking for:
- BS in Accounting
- 10 years of experience in relatable roles, progressively developing.
- Looking for an experienced Plant Controller; Experience in a large plant environment, preferring a publicly traded company
- Manufacturing industry experience is a must
- Understanding and reporting on the numbers, support the Plant GMs in running the business.
- Strong person who is very hands on. Happy to do data mining, strong accuracy.
