Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations related to professional liability claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare compelling defense strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage discovery processes and participate in depositions.
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice.
- Monitor case developments and keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Illinois state bar and in good standing.
- 2 years of experience in professional liability matters at a reputable law firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
