What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at LHH?
Our client is seeking a permanent, full time Project Accountant to work in their office in Oak Park, IL
The Project Accountant will be involved in all aspects of company billing for all departments.
Duties include:
Prepare billing for all departments to include electrical, scoreboard, crane & hoist, service & governmental
Adaptability to the ERP construction software to learn the software in detail and challenge the current processes
Responsible for project electronic record keeping
Serve as gatekeeper for project closings
Responsible for project budget set up and support
Provide PO assistance as they relate to receivables and payables
Possible other ad-hoc projects that might include sales tax related deadlines, and account reconciliations
Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business would be ideal
Experience with project accounting in construction or trades industry
experience in accounting and billing ideal
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
