LHH is seeking a Project Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Pendleton, Indiana. - JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the Sales and Design Teams to establish and lead projects which support the growth of the organizationEffectively partner with a cross-functional team and establish project plans, tasks, resources, and ownership to ensure timelines are metManage budgets, develop cost savings initiatives, and achieve all cost reduction savings targetsMonitor workload, project capacity, and develop strong relationships with business colleaguesCoordinate internal and external resources for the successful planning and execution of projectsWork proactively to remove project obstacles, identify, and manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams balancing competing prioritiesActively drive the enhancement of project management processes, tooling, and templates to improve the project management functionProvide timely status reports and program summaries including scope / schedule / quality risks, project status, resource allocation and customer impactIdentify and manage costs associated with project budgetsPartner with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to drive new business and new product developmentCreate and document new processes as required.Collaborate with business leaders to ensure that all appropriate safety and compliance regulations are being met at all timesStay abreast of industry trends and market developments in your respective categoriesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor Degree in Project Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, and / or Supply Chain Management is preferred but not requiredMust have 3 years of experience serving as a Project Manager within a manufacturing environment (PLEASE NOTE : Candidates from cable / internet, IT, or service-related candidates will NOT be considered)Must have experience with New Product Development (although no design experience is necessary in this role)PMP Certification is preferredMust be a high-performer, goal setter, who can motivate othersMust possess a track record of being a results-driven person who consistently meets and exceeds organizational goalsMust be a natural problem-solver who possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
