LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Property Accountant to join a confidential client in Philly. This role involves managing the financial records for multiple properties within the client's commercial and residential portfolios.
Main Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Record business transactions accurately and promptly by preparing journal entries.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations according to the month-end close schedule.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, including budget-to-actual variance analysis.
- Manage cash schedules to ensure the financial needs of properties are met.
- Prepare lender reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for loan compliance.
- Assist Asset and Property Managers with accounting, budgeting, and reporting matters.
- Support external auditors with year-end audits for select properties.
- Collaborate with external CPAs on annual entity tax returns.
- Take on special projects and other duties as needed.

Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
- Experience with MRI Software (preferred, but not required).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and database applications.
The Property Accountant will handle a variety of accounting tasks, such as journal entries, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements for each property.
